What happens at your first visit?

Meet the scoutmaster and a few patrol leaders — no paperwork required to just come look.
Watch a real troop meeting: scouts run it, adults guide from the side.
Ask questions and pick up next steps for joining, at your own pace.

Troop 936 is a boy-led troop chartered by the Church of St. Benedict in Broken Arrow. Scouts hike, camp, learn outdoor skills, and grow into leaders through adventure and service. We camp year-round and welcome families who want a scouting program built on hands-on leadership and outdoor adventure.

Year-round camping

We camp throughout the year—monthly outings and outdoor activities in every season. Scouts build real camping skills by being out there, not just in the meeting room.

Our philosophy →

Boy-led troop

Scouts plan outings, run meetings, cook their own meals, and pack their own gear. Adults guide and support, but scouts learn by doing.

Join us

Scouting is open to youth ages 11–17. Prior Cub Scout experience is helpful but not required. Arrow of Light recipients from area packs are especially welcome.
